Biffel Josip

Josip Biffel was born in Zagreb in 1933.
He graduated from The Academy of Visual Arts in Zagreb in 1959.
He painted the national monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina – The Franciscan Monastery and The Church of the Ascension of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Šćito.
His works can be found in various collections and museums across the world, including:  The Zagreb Modern Gallery, The Zagreb Museum of Contemporary Art, The Varaždin City Museum, The Vatican Museum of Modern Art etc.
Josip Biffel passed away in Zagreb in 2018.
