Škerlj Josip

Josip Škerlj was born in Dubrovnik in 1941.
He graduated from the Zagreb Academy of VIsual Arts in the class of prof. Oton Postružnik.
He worked as an art teacher in various Dubrovnik elementary schools until his retirement in 2006.
He belongs to the successors  of the popular Dubrovnik colorful school known as “The Second Trefoil” together with Josip Pino Trostmann and Lukša Peko.
He also dabbles in poetry, and has published poems and short stories in around 10 books.
He lives and works in Dubrovnik.
