Šutej Miroslav

Šutej Miroslav was born on the 29th of April, 1936 in Duga Resa.
He graduated from the Zagreb Academy of Visual Arts in the class of prof. Marijan Detoni in 1961.
He was an associate of the Krsto Hegedušić Master workshop from 1961. to 1963.
He was awarded the Grand-Prix for painting on the 3rd Biennale de Paris in 1963.
He taught at the Zagreb Academy of Visual Arts from 1978 to 2005.
He designed the Croatian Coat of arms, the Croatian kuna paper bills, the first Croatian National Football team Jersey
and many other iconic symbols of The Republic of Croatia.
Šutej Miroslav passed away on the 13th of May, 2005 in Krapinske Toplice.
