Jakov Vučić was born in 1974 in Metković.
He is an archaeologist and an art historian by trade.
He finished his doctorate at the Zagreb College of Philosophy.
He is a full-time member of the HDLU in Zadar.
He began painting and drawing at an early age and has recently started publicly exhibiting his works.
He has had three solo exhibitions so far, and has participated in a large number of group exhibitions.
