Kuliš Vatroslav

Vatroslav Kulis was born in 1951 in Vidoš.
After the School of applied art he enrolled in the Academy of Fine Arts in 1976. where he graduated in the class of professor Sime Peric.
Upon completion of the Academy for Kulis begins intensive and fruitful period of painting and exhibiting activities, as well as dealing with graphics, graphic design and stage design.
During all these years, he was systematically, in the tradition of lyrical abstraction, abstract expressionism and the U.S. gesture painting built its autonomous pictorial space.
Behind him was more two hundred independent and group exhibitions at home and abroad. Quantity of his work, however, has never decreased quality.
Today, Vatroslav Kulis is one of the most important painters called, middle generation.
